Solis to speak during Leaders’ Lunch at WTM
Award-winning author, digital analyst and futurist Brian Solis will speak at the WTM Leaders’ Lunch on the first day of World Travel Market London 2016.
The WTM Leaders’ Lunch is an exclusive invitation-only networking event with 200 pre-eminent heads of commercial travel organisations.
Solis studies the impact of emerging technologies on business, marketing and culture and, in his role as Principal Analyst at Altimeter Group, advises companies on marketing strategy and change management.
He has published many books on business including X: The Experience When Business Meets Design, What’s the Future of Business, The End of Business as Usual, Engage, and Putting the Public Back into Public Relations.
Solis will be interviewed by BBC journalist Aaron Hestlehurst.
Solis will also make a keynote address to delegates on the second day of WTM London, speaking about today’s “era of digital Darwinism”.
His insightful and inspirational sessions aim to help people see the world differently and understand the impact of emerging technologies on their businesses.
World Travel Market London, Senior Director, Simon Press, said: “Brian is a world-renowned expert, who appears at high-profile events and conferences around the globe, so I am delighted he is presenting on two days at WTM London 2016.
“The travel and tourism industry has been radically changed by many technological developments, and the pace of change is accelerating, so Brian will help delegates make the most of such advances.
“At last year’s Leaders’ Lunch, we heard from David Gill, the former CEO at Manchester United Football Club, and this year’s Leaders’ Lunch looks set to be another inspiring and entertaining event.
“Brian has plenty to say about technology trends and so it is great that he is also speaking on the afternoon of the second day, at a session open to all delegates.”
